Thank you! I hav...Dear Connecting the Windy City,

Thank you! I have been searching for the name of this work by Henry Moore for years—and no one else knew what I was talking about.

The Gould Corporation used to have a club; complete with a restaurant, health club and indoor/outdoor pool which had a view of the artwork. I knew a manager of a store in the Woodfield Mall who had a membership to this club, which is how I came to see it. I was amused by the Picasso and found the Moore sculptures to be both edgier and sexier.

You have the best “Then and Now” blog I’ve seen on Chicago and surrounding suburbs. I have recommended it to my history buff friends. I’m familiar with Elk Grove Village, Morton Grove, Lincoln Avenue, Addison near Ashland, Southport, record stores in the city and Northwest suburbs, Palatine, Vernon Hills, Evanston and Lincolnshire if you should have any queries.

Thank you, again, for this treasure trove of information with photos, diagrams and renderings. Wishing you wellness,

Just call me JeanJean Auberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12472644966274002349noreply@blogger.com
